CONVERGE Media Summit for Aspiring Writers, Authors & Publishers on Friday

“CONVERGE! is geared toward aspiring and published authors (books), freelance writers, and magazine publishers,” says host, Dr. Teresa Hairston. The one-day "CONVERGE! Media Summit" will convene at Atlanta’s Airport Hilton on October 12, 2012. 

CONVERGE! will feature a series of seminars for those who are just beginning, and even seasoned writers and authors.

Ms. Robin Ware will lead in the area of social media. Dubbed ‘the Social Media Queen,’ Ware has helped ministries and businesses navigate the pathways of the Internet to achieve branding success and increased event response.

Ms. Veda Brown, founder and owner of Blackgospelpromo.com, which reaches nearly 200,000 people daily and promotes everything from books and CDs to movies, will discuss how to strategically implement a successful internet campaign.

Finally, Dr. Teresa Hairston will speak to attendees and especially magazine publishers on the practicality of Convergence online and offline. Hairston founded Gospel Today magazine in 1989 and built it to the #1 Christian lifestyle publication before retiring in 2011.
