Early Voting Continues Until November 1st - What you Need to Know

Don't wait for the long lines, stop by and vote early!

This is the final week of early voting. Β The following local locations are open fromΒ 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. untilΒ Friday, November 1, 2013:

  • Fulton County Government Center, 130 Peachtree Street, SW, Suite 2186, Atlanta
  • South Fulton Service Center, 5600 Stonewall Tell Road, Room 108, College Park
  • Adamsville Recreational Center, 3201 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive SW, Atlanta
Fulton County voters who prefer to vote by absentee ballot can submit their written request for an absentee ballot now.Β  Friday, November 1, 2013 is the last day to request an Absentee ballot for the November 5, 2013 election.Β Β  Voters do not have to provide a reason for voting absentee by mail.Β

How to Request An Absentee Ballot

Online: Download an Absentee Ballot application from the Department of Registration & Elections website.Β  By Phone: Call 404-612-7060 to request that an Absentee Ballot Application be mailed to you.Β Β In Person:Β Β You can also request and complete an Absentee Ballot Application at any of the three Fulton County Department of Registration & Elections Offices.

Voters can also write a letter requesting an absenteeΒ ballot. The letter must include all of the following: name and date of the election, the voter's name, address as registered, date of birth, address where the ballot is to be mailed, daytime phone number (optional),Β and voter's signature.Β

Mail your Absentee Ballot Application or letter requesting an absentee ballot to: Fulton County Registration & Elections, Attn: Absentee Ballot, 130 Peachtree St., SW, Suite 2186, Atlanta, GA 30303Β  You can fax your letter or application to 404-730-8839.

All Absentee Ballots must be returned to the Department of Registration & Elections no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day, November 5.Β Β

All registered voters should ensureΒ their information on file is up-to-date by logging into the Georgia Secretary of State's My Voter Page at http://mvp.sos.state.ga.us/Β

NewΒ Fulton County residentsΒ who are registered to voteΒ elsewhere in Georgia should completeΒ a newΒ voter registration form to update their name and/or address.Β New Fulton County residents who are registered to vote in other states must complete a Georgia voter registration form to vote.Β
