The West End Mall, Atlanta City Councilmember Cleta Winslow and The Empire Board of Realtist are joining together to collect school supplies for the youth this year.
The main event will take place at The West End Mall Back to School Jamboree & Talent Show, July 27, 12p - 5p.
Empire Board, a NAREB affiliate, has adopted the West End Back to School Jamboree & Talent Show as a community service project to provide school supplies such as pens, pencils, paper, book packs, etc. to children returning to school.
According to a statement from the community relations team, it is their "mission to have a meaningful presence in the community as it relates to children, families and communities...We are working together for greater impact as excellence in education is a value we all support."
The Empire Board, located in the West End, will host a drop off day at Empire Board office, 686 Joseph Lowery , Atlanta, Ga., 10am - 2pm, on July 22, 2013, giving the community and others additional time to pick up items and participate in this great community service event.
Just as a reminder, please plan on dropping off your school supplies on Monday, July 22, 2013, 10am - 2pm at the Empire Board, 686 Joseph Lowery, Atlanta, Ga., 30310...You may also bring them with you on Saturday to the main event at the West End Mall, if you do not get a chance to drop them off on Monday.
