Enchanted Closet Hosts a Prom Prep 101 Program in the Cascade Area, Saturday

The first set pf proms will begin this weekend and Cascade Patch wanted to make everyone aware that the Enchanted Closet is hosting a Prom Prep 101 program in the Cascade area on Saturday, April 20 for young ladies.

Prom prep is intended to prepare girls for their prom night, helping them to remain safe while having fun. They learn everything from skincare and makeup tips to dining/social etiquette to self-defense.

According to a press release, the program will show young ladies how to be poised, responsible, observant and mannerly from the following presenters:

• MsNickee Mack of Diva Day International Modeling Agency presenting “How to Walk Gracefully and Properly in Heels”;
• Cole Parker of Divas in Defense presenting “Self-Love and Self-Defense”;
• Deborah Pyburn of Mary Kay Cosmetics presenting “Skin Care and Makeup Tips”
• Erika Preval of Charm Etiquette presenting “Dining Etiquette and Social Graces”. The girls will also be treated to a four course meal prepared by Chef Frederick Haynes, owner of Quinland’s Cuisine.

The Enchanted Closet, is a volunteer-run nonprofit organization serving teenage girls from low-income households across metro Atlanta. The PROM Prep 101 will be held on Saturday, April 20 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Event Hall at Cascade, 1180 Fairburn Road, SW, Atlanta 30331.
