Homeless High School Student Inspires All and Graduates
Fred Dukes of Washington High was homeless, yet still graduated this past week.
In a TV news report, a story of perseverance and triumph came to my attention. A story that is from right here in our backyard about a homeless high school student that despite all the trials and tribulations life has put him through, he still managed to graduate from Booker T. Washington High School with a 3.0 GPA and a high ACT score.
Fred Dukes is an inspiration to us all and I can only imagine how he must feel after accomplishing such a big and rewarding task. Hear his story.
