Man Guilty Of Murder In Gas Station Ambush In College Park
Prosecutors say Patrick Wilson, 21, ambushed 44-year-old Keith Troup, outside gas station in College Park.

ATLANTA, GA -- A College Park was recently convicted of murder in a fatal shooting of a man outside a gas station, Fulton County's District Attorney's Office announced late Wednesday.
Prosecutors said that Patrick Wilson, 21, ambushed 44-year-old Keith Troup, waiting on him for 20 minutes before coming up behind him and opening fire when he exited a convenience store on Old National Highway.
Wilson said that Troup had threatened him eight days earlier and that he was so disturbed that when he saw him he "blacked out." Troup suffered 14 gunshot wounds in his arm, chest and back in the December 2015 shooting.

A security camera outside the store captured the rampage on video, showing Wilson even pulling a hoodie off his head when he shot. When asked by police, why he pulled off his hoodie, Wilson said, “I wanted to make sure he (the victim) knew who shot him,” according to law enforcement officials.
Wilson evaded law enforcement for a few days before police found him in a house on Peppermill Lane. In his escape attempt, he tried to jump from a second-story balcony. Police found an AK-47 at the home as well.
