Lake Lanier Search For Snellville Boater Enters Fourth Day

The search for a Snellville man who went missing on Lake Lanier on Saturday entered its fourth day Tuesday, after search crews had no luck on Monday. The search for Jerry Kornmeier, 57, resumed at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, the Georgia Department of Natural Resources said.

The DNR, and sheriff's deputies from Hall and Forsyth counties, had searched until 6 p.m. Monday, utilizing side-scan sonar and other techniques. >>> Read more.

Accused Snellville Walmart Shooter in Custody

A Florida man accused of shooting his ex-girlfriend outside a Walmart in Snellville has turned himself in, police say.

Snellville Police on Tuesday announced that Darrell Costallo Hale, of Gainesville, Florida, was being held without bond at Gwinnett County Jail. He faces a charge of aggravated assault after turning himself in Monday night. >>> Read more.
