Monday Essentials: 5 Things This Week

  • Cascade's Tiger Soccer Club - Academy Tryouts This is the tryout for Academy (competitive soccer) for ages 8-13.  Select (competive soccer) tryouts will be the week of May 28th.  Open to boys and girls 8-13.
  • Books and Babies The Atlanta Public Schools presents Books and Babies. Special Guest, "The Storyweaver, Dr. Tony L. Burks"   This program designed caregivers and parents of children ages 0-4 years.
  • Wind Down With Nine at Alfred "Tup" Holmes Play nine holes of golf with the Executive Women's Golf Association Atlanta West & South Chapter at the historic Alfred "Tup" Holmes Golf Course. This is a stroke play event. Players are not required to have a handicap. Players will be paired at the course. Fees include nine holes of golf and a cart. Arrive early for 5:00pm and 5:30pm tee times.
  • AfroDreamFest Music Concert AfroDreamFest is a music event that celebrates and promotes Neo Afro-fusion genres of music from the African continent in the diaspora. Tickets are now on sale online!! SW Arts Center.
  • South Fulton Arts Center's Teen Artists Academy Auditions an intensive 4-week visual arts and musical theatre program for teens ages 13-18 is scheduling appointments for auditions on June 1, 10am to 12pm and June 4, 3.30pm to 5pm.
  • Heaven Can Weight 5K Run/Walk Sponsored by: Zulu Racing & Big Peach Running Timed Course-Great Tune Up for the Peachtree Purpose of the 5K is " to promote healthy living and community building."  COURSE DESCRIPTION: Scenic landscape and rolling hills of South-View Cemetery; travel through 127 years of rich history, artistry and preservation.
