New Chick-Fil-A Opening In Cascade Offers Free Food For A Year

Chick-fil-A is opening a new location in Cascade area and offering free food for a year to the first 100 adults in line.

ATLANTA, GA -- Later this month, Chick-fil-A is opening a new restaurant on Cascade Road and giving customers a chance to win free food for a year, Patch has learned. The new location at 3725 Cascade Road, will bring more than 100 jobs to the corridor and join a thriving food scene anchored by strong retail development just off Interstate 285.

The first 100 eligible adults in line when the doors open on Thursday, April 27 will win free Chick-fil-A -- 52 meals made up of a Chicken Sandwich, medium Waffle Potato Fries and a medium drink -- for a whole year. The new eatery will be just a few miles from Greenbriar Mall, the site of S. Truett Cathy's first Chick-fil-A restaurant a half century ago.

The location is expecting people to arrive a day or so in advance, with lawn chairs, sleeping bags and more in tow so security will be provided along with a family-friendly overnight party, games and other activities. On Wednesday, April 26, the day before the grand opening, Chick-fil-A is inviting patrons to help package 10,000 meals for the hungry starting at 10 a.m.

The first 100 promotion will begin at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, April 26. If more than 100 people are there, the eatery will hold a drawing to randomly pick the 100 people. Those selected must camp out until the Thursday grand opening to secure their spot, the restaurant said.

The new franchise location is owned by Cascade-area resident and businessman Rory Woodfaulk, who has an industrial engineering degree from Florida A&M and a master's in operations management from MBA from DePaul University.
