OMNI International School - a Chinese and Japanese Immersion School on Cascade

Did you know that our children have the access and opportunity to go to a Pre-K - 3rd grade immersion school, specializing in Chinese and Japanese, right here on Cascade Road?

It's true, the OMNI International School is proud to bring a school of this nature to the SW Atlanta area. According to their founder and Principal, TJ Bell Marks, "we launched last summer with a language explosion summer camp and have been providing a high caliber education for the students we serve ever since, which are PreK-3rd grade, adding a grade each year."

This is currently a small sized school, so the teacher student ratio is better than state averages and the school has recently been “Accredited with Quality” by the Georgia Accrediting Commission.

According to Principal Marks OMNI is a 501 c 3 nonprofit organization. 

"We teach all subjects throughout the week with an emphasis on science, math, and technology," says the school's founder, "half of the day is taught in the target language either Chinese/Japanese the other half in English."

This is an amazing concept for children who are growing up in an ever-increasing globalized world in which Asia is a clear leader in the future.  The students are learning in a way that will set them apart from the US workforce in the near and long-term.

Marks says that the school has also partnered with local constituents to provide on-site after-school enrichment such as kung fu, dance, chess and private piano for a nominal fee.
