Photos - T.I. and Mayor Kasim Reed Give Back to the Communities they were Raised

Thousands of SW Atlanta community members ventured out into the freezing temperatures on Wednesday to receive a Thanksgiving meal directly from the hands of Mayor Kasim Reed and music superstar, T.I.

On November 27th, rapper, television and film star, T.I. was joined by his family, Mayor Kasim Reed and Councilman C.T. Martin (District 10) for T.I.’s sixth annual turkey giveaway.

T.I. along with support from the Mayor of Atlanta and Councilman Martin, distributed hundreds of turkeys to deserving Atlanta families from 12 noon – 4pm, at the Adamsville Recreation Center.

The giveaway focused on grandparents who are raising grandchildren and other deserving Atlantans. 

"Our annual turkey drive means so much to me. Each year we are able to give more and more…and me and my team will continue to focus on growing our efforts in the Atlanta community during the holiday season and beyond," says T.I.
