Police Officer Recognized by Fulton Industrial Boulevard Business Community

Fulton County Police Officer Alexksander Lazic honored for his "excellent police work in the apprehension of two armed robbery suspects."

Fulton County Police Officer Alexksander Lazic recently received an award from the Fulton Industrial Boulevard Community Improvement District (CID) for his excellent police work in the apprehension of two armed robbery suspects.

On April 22, 2014, three men assaulted and robbed a Central Pipe and Supply employee at gunpoint as he walked to work. Lazic responded to the call and took the detailed report from the victim and any nearby witnesses. Lazic assured employees that the Fulton County Police Department would remain diligent in its search for the suspects.

Approximately four hours later on the same day of the assault, Lazic arrested two of the three suspects involved in the incident. Members of the Boulevard Community Improvement District, District 7 Commissioner William “Bill” Edwards and State Representative Roger Bruce presented Lazic with a plaque, a t-shirt and a thank you letter signed by Central Pipe and Supply employees to express their sincere thanks for his dedication in keeping the businesses and the employees safe within the Fulton Industrial Corridor.

“I have seen a lot of decrease in crime on the Fulton Industrial Boulevard Corridor and it is a good feeling for me to know that I have contributed to improving the safety in the area where I work,” said Lazic.
