Good Morning Patch! Be safe this morning on your way to work as roads are wet and you know that means delays in Atlanta.
According to 11Alive, the forecast calls for, "Cloudy skies, 40% chance for thunderstorms, High: 90"
Funny how it does not say it will rain this morning, but its obviously raining out here this morning. Though, I did see the sun trying to creep through the clouds in the attached video, and by the time you read this the rain will hopefully make way for the sun.
As of 8 a.m., WSB is reporting,
- "Double trouble on GA 400. Southbound crash at Mansell Rd, southbound stall at Northridge Rd."
- "Gwinnett Co.: Rollover wreck...I-85/nb near Indian Trail. Only 1 left lane open."
-"Rain Slowed on I-20 (WEST EXPRESSWAY) from #LithiaSprings all the way to West End/Downtown. Allow Extra Time, Leave Extra space,"
- "Wet pavement delays downtown: I-75/85/nb slows from Highway 166 to Freedom Parkway."
So be careful on the roads this morning, and expect the possibility of thunderstorms on the way home this evening.
