Sandtown Middle School Student, Miss Alayna Tobo, Makes National Teen Pageant
The National American Miss pageants are for "Today's Girl" and "Tomorrow's Leaders." The pageant program is based on inner beauty, as well as poise and presentation.

Cascade Patch has just received an update about one of our local young students who is bringing our community and her school into the national limelight. Β Alayna Georgette Tobo, age 11, is headed to theΒ National American Miss Pre-Teen Pageant as the representative of the State of Georgia.
Miss Alayna Georgette Tobo, age 11, daughter of Mr. George and Dr. Robin Tobo, hasΒ earned the opportunity to attend Nationals by earning the title of "State Ambassador". Β The National PageantΒ is to be held in Anaheim, California at Disneyland during Thanksgiving Week, representing theΒ great state of Georgia, where she will have the opportunity to win her share of over $500,000Β in cash and prizes!
According to a press release, "the National American Miss pageants are dedicated to celebrating Americaβs greatnessΒ and encouraging its future leaders. Each year, the National American Miss Pageants awards 1.5Β Million dollars in cash, scholarships, and prizes to recognize and assist the development ofΒ young women nationwide."
About Alayna Tobo
Miss Tobo is the daughter of Mr. George and Dr. Robin Tobo. Β Alayna is a 6th grader atΒ Sandtown Middle School where she is active in the Junior BETA Club and 6Β grade band. As aΒ recent 5th graderΒ at Stonewall Tell Elementary School she was involved in Student Council, aΒ member of the Junior BETA Club, recipient of Principalβs Award for academic excellence, and anΒ AAA Safety Patrol. She is also an active member of Cascade United Methodist Church serving asΒ an Acolyte, a Cadette Girl Scout and the childrenβs choir. Alayna earned her Girl Scout BronzeΒ Award in 2012 and is a member of the 2012 Grand Champions- U12 Division Welcome All PantherΒ Cheerleading squad.
Alayna is currently preparing to earn her Girl Scout Silver Award throughΒ her community service project working with Kyle's Kids Foundation Inc. to increase awarenessΒ of organ donation and transplantation. She also enjoys reading, dancing, doing communityΒ service projects, modeling and shopping.Β

Methodist Church, family and friends.
