The Ivy Community Foundation and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Hold Health Fair, April 27th

The members of the AKA's Kappa Omega Chapter are holding a free and open to the public community health fair and open house on Saturday, April 27th.

According to the foundation's website, "The Ivy Community Center, formerly known as the Kappa Omega Foundation, The Foundation, and center, was established by members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Kappa Omega Chapter."

The Mission of the Ivy Community Foundation Inc. (ICF), is established exclusively to serve charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes.

On Saturday, April 27, 2013 from 9am-3pm, families are urged to bring their youth groups, boy/girl scout troops, and even elders for a day of fun and education.  There will be health screenings, CPR demonstrations, a DJ and more fun.
