The Sights and Sounds of the Cascade Nature Preserve - Rediscover our own Beauty!

This past weekend was the perfect time to once again visit the Cascade Springs Nature Preserve to admire the treasure we have right here in our backyard.

The next beautiful day we have, I recommend that you and a friend head out to Cascade Road for a calm quiet walk amongst nature.  You can take in the sounds of Utoy Creek as you walk the lower level trails, or if you want more of a challenge walk or run the uphill trails to the highest point and take a break on one of the massive boulders.

Also note that, as a place of history, the land was the site of the Battle of Utoy Creek, one the critical struggles of the Battle of Atlanta during the Civil War.
