Town Hall Meeting Thursday Night for Parents in District 2 Cluster Schools

The Parent Town Hall Meeting will take place at Washington High School and cover a range of issues.

Parents are being urged to be a part of their children's education and their school's process more than ever these days as school performance and school safety continue to be hot button issues throughout southwest Atlanta and the greater metro area.

District 2 Board of Education representative, Bryon Amos, will hold a Parent Town Hall meeting on Thursday, March 28th starting at 6:30 p.m. at Washington High School.

The meeting will discuss important topics such as, "small school designation, school safety, parental engagement, community involvement, and upcoming school closings," says Mr. Amos.

The discussion will take place in the Washington High Media Center, and parents with children in any District 2 school from elementary school to high school are welcome.
