• New ‘Center Court' mural unveiled at Frank D. Chester Recreation Center (wrbl.com) — Frank D. Chester Recreation Center in Columbus just unveiled a colorful new ‘Center Court’ mural that turns a worn practice wall into a functional art space for multiple sports. Created by local artist and Columbus State graduate Andrew Tatum, it completes Columbus 2025’s five-mural Painted Spaces Project aimed at brightening neighborhoods with community-inspired public art.
   

• SHEEN Magazine Atlanta Takes Center Stage at The Beauty Honors: A Night of Glamour, Legacy and Beauty Excellence (sheenmagazine.com) — Columbus beauty fans may recognize The Beauty Honors, which traditionally took place in Columbus but just made a high-profile debut in Atlanta this week. The event celebrated top beauty and wellness professionals, honored Atlanta entrepreneur Mychel “Snoop” Dillard, and awarded scholarships supporting future cosmetologists and beauty business owners. Organizers framed the move as a new chapter for the regional beauty community.

A new national report shows that while flipping remains active here, profit margins are shrinking everywhere, forcing investors to be more selective and cautious about local deals.
