- Forsyth County Parks and Recreation is hosting a Community Yard Sale on Oct. 21 at Central Park Recreation Center. Community members can register as vendors for $10 to sell their items, and the event is free for all shoppers. This is a perfect opportunity for people to clean out their closets and garages. - Members of the Jewish community in north Georgia gathered at the future site of the Jewish Community Center in Forsyth County to celebrate the beginning of Rosh Hashanah with Chabad of Forsyth and Congregation Beth Israel.
