Cumming Man Killed After Hitting Tree
Authorities report the man was speeding around a curve and not wearing a seat belt.

A Cumming man died early Saturday morning, Dec. 3, after hitting a tree in north Forsyth County, according to authorities.
In a news release, Cpl. David Garrison of the said, Matthew Vincent Bossa, 27, of Carriage Court, was driving a 2003 Mercedes S500 at a high rate of speed. As he was taking a turn on John Burruss Road, just south of Highway 369, he went off the west side of the road and slammed into a tree head-on.
Bossa was killed instantly and was not wearing a seat belt.

The accident happened around 5:06 a.m. and remains under investigation.
