The camps will be available for half and full days for children 4 to 15 years old from Apr. 3 through Apr. 7.
From Forsyth County Parks & Recreation: Forsyth County Parks & Recreation is offering half-day and full-day spring break camps this year. The camps vary in location and theme and are offered for children ages 4 through 15, Monday, April 3, through Friday, April 7.
The half-day camp options at Old Atlanta Park – located in the southern portion of the county – include a drawing and painting camp for children ages 4 to 6 and a Minecraft-inspired engineering adventure camp for children ages 6 to 11. Sawnee Mountain Preserve – located in the northern portion of the county – will play host to two full-day camps, an outdoor exploration camp for children ages 6 to 8 and an outdoor adventure camp for children ages 9 to 15. The times and registration fees vary by activity.
“Forsyth County Parks & Recreation is offering a variety of youth camps this spring break – with activities that include everything from painting to science to zip-lining,” said Parks & Recreation Director Jim Pryor. “With daily, week-long camps, children have more opportunity to engage with their peers, learn new skills and make life-long memories.”
