Authorities said that Lane is an avid camper and outdoor enthusiast.
“She frequents the Dawson Forest Wildlife Management Area and the Chattahoochee (Blood Mountain) Wildlife Management Area," said Major Dan Jagoe of the Criminal Investigations Division.
In the recent past Lane also has camped in the Dahlonega area.

Authorities said that the couple did not have an argument and nothing indicates foul play.
"She didn't tell anybody that she was doing this, nobody knew she was going to leave, her daughter didn't know, her husband didn't know and that's who she would have communicated with, said Jagoe. "They just came home and she just wasn't there."

Lane's husband reported her missing on Monday morning, Nov. 28 when she had still not returned home.
