Paws to Consider Your Pets of the Week, July 26

(HSFC) introduces us to Charlie Brown and Dora, Cumming Patch's pets of the week.

Charlie Brown is a chocolate love. He is a sweet 5-year-old Dachshund-mix who is currently living at the HSFC campus until he can find his forever home. This little guy is good with everyone, including cats. He is currently undergoing heart worm treatment, but will be good as new very soon and is so deserving of a loving home!  

Dora is quite the explorer--so much so she lost her family. This 3-year-old long haired Calico was picked up recently by Paulding County Animal Control and given to us to adopt out. She loves to snuggle and receive affection.

A call for help from the shelter--the campus on 4440 Keith Bridge Road is in desperate need of cat litter and kitten food. Call 770-887-6480 to find out how you can donate the much needed items.

During these hot summer days, if possible keep your pet indoors. If they must be left outdoors, make sure your pet has shade and plenty of water to stay hydrated (click for more tips).

Saturday, August 13, Charming Charlie at The Avenue Forsyth is helping the HSFC with a fundraiser to help the shelter pay for their medical bills. The shelter is helping 60 percent more pets than last year, but need your help to continue at this rate. Your generous donation of $3.00 or more will give you a 20 percent discount at Charming Charlie.
