Sheriff's Office Needs Your Help in Jewelry Heist Investigation

is asking for your help in locating two more suspects believed to have been involved .

Warrants are out for Michael Willie Young, 43, of Atlanta and Devoria Raynard Wright, 35, of College Park, according to Lt. Bill Franco of the Criminal Investigation Division in a news release Friday.

Young is known to use the alias of Herman Young Jr. and is known to go by "Mike."

Lt. Franco said Young has been arrested previously for his involvement in a similar burglary in Auburn, Ala., and is wanted by Forsyth County on charges of burglary and theft by taking.

Wright is also known to go by the name of "Billy Ray" and warrants have been issued for him for burglary and theft by taking.

"In working with other jurisdictions across the Southeast, we believe that several of the persons we have arrested or identified as suspects have been involved in up to 23 different burglaries involving businesses who sell jewelry,” said Lt. Col. Gene Moss. “These burglaries have amounted to over $22 million in property damage and stolen goods.”

The District Attorney's office has been involved in the case since the beginning along with other jurisdictions across the Southeast. Moss also said the FCSO has met with and shared information with a number of other jurisdictions.

Prior to December, . Earlier this month, authorities arrested three more suspects.

Eric Lanard Stephens, 35, of Atlanta was arrested on unrelated charges and for violating his probation by Fulton County authorities. He was taken to the Fulton County Jail and is now being held in the with no bond.

James Junior Love, 41, of Atlanta was taken into custody by Clayton County authorities during the commission of a burglary at a flea market on Tara Boulevard. He is currently being held in the Clayton County jail on charges stemming from that burglary.

Giacobi Trevell Kelly, 35, of Atlanta was arrested at his residence by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Warrant and Fugitive Unit and is being held in the Forsyth County Detention Center with no bond.

All three men have been charged with burglary and theft by receiving. 

A fourth suspect would have been charged, but was killed in a domestic dispute on Thursday, Dec. 22, in East Point. Lt. Franco said the homicide is unrelated to the jewelry investigation.

Investigators said during the early hours of Sept. 25, several suspects made their way into the jewelry store by breaking into an adjoining vacant building and cutting out a hole. After gaining entry, an estimated $2.8 million worth of merchandise and personal items were taken from the business.

and returned to the owners of the Cumming business. Among the items returned was a 4.05-carat diamond belonging to a customer of Milano's. The diamond, a family heirloom, is valued at more than $30,000.
