SWAT Teams Enter House, Shooter In Custody, Standoff Over
The Forsyth Sheriff's Office has reported the shooter involved in a SWAT standoff for most of the day is now in custody.

FORSYTH COUNTY, GA — Forsyth County and North Fulton SWAT teams have entered the house and have the shooter in custody, according to a Tweet from the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.

Forsyth County Sheriff Ron Freeman said a man is held up in his Townhome and deputies are trying to get him to come out safe and sound during a SWAT standoff in the Whittington Townhome community in south Forsyth.

Police are reporting the 911 call escalated this morning when shots were fired by him inside the Townhome.
The only streets that are currently blocked in Whittington are Prestwyck Court and Annazanes Court where they connect to Bendleton Trace. All other residents are free to go back to your homes.

The Forsyth County Schools are making arraignments for the kids to be picked up at their respected schools who live on the closed streets.
The Forsyth Sheriff's Crisis Negotiation Team is has made contact with the man who could be on drugs or have been drinking alcohol.

Sheriff Ron Freeman says they’re dealing w/ a 42-year-old man who is under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. He said that the suspect has already fired shots on three separate occasions. Deputies are asking residents to leave their homes while negotiations continue .
