Two Cars Broken Into at Windermere Park
Sheriff's Office advises, "don't leave anything in a car you don't want someone to take."

Thieves broke into two vehicles at Windermere Park over the weekend and took quite a few personal items and cash, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities were called late Saturday afternoon [Oct. 22] to 3355 Windermere Parkway for the break-ins after two women found the windows to their vehicles smashed in.
According to the incident report, about three to four parking spaces were in between the vehicles, a gray Honda CRV and a black Ford Explorer. There was also broken glass outside and inside each vehicle.

"People leave things exposed–laptops, purses, wallets, things of value," he said. "These people [thieves] take that opportunity, if the car is in an area that they can get in and out of it pretty quick, they get the goodies and go."
House said one way to avoid from being a victim is pretty simple, "don't leave anything in a car you don't want someone to take."
