She was last seen on Saturday, Nov. 26 by her family at their home.

Authorities say they know that Lane was at the Walmart store in Dahlonega on Thursday, but would not comment as to how they came about this information.

"We have identified her positively, we know that she is alive and we know that she bought some camping equipment at Walmart," said Capt. Tim House with the FCSO.

House would not confirm whether their information was attained through video surveillance or credit card purchase, and that Lane's whereabouts are still unknown.

"We'd still like to talk to her or have her get in contact with the sheriff's office or any sheriff's office or police agency or contact her family," House said.

Lane is still considered missing and authorities are still working this incident as a missing person's case.

It is also still unknown if Lane's missing has anything to do with a domestic dispute.

"I'm not knowledgeable of any domestic issues based on what the investigators have told me about their interviews with the family," he said.

"My understanding of this is that it is highly unlikely for her to take off without notifying her family of where she's at or when she's going to be back, so we're concerned along with the family," House explained. "We're just waiting on her or somebody to be able to make contact with her or for her to contact us to let us know she's okay."

John Lane, the brother-in-law, told Cumming Patch that the family is concerned about her safety and want her home.

"My brother and his daughter have been worried sick about her," he said.

by her husband and their 19-year-old daughter at approximately 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26 at the family home.

According to Investigator Jason Soles, Lane's husband and daughter left the family home around 5:45 p.m. on Nov. 26.

"Around 6:30 p.m., the husband tried to call Felicia to find out what she wanted for supper, but she didn't answer the phone," said Soles.

When the husband returned home he find out that she was gone, along with some camping supplies, her Jack Russell Terrier dog, enough food to last about five days and a bag of dog food. Lane’s identification and a credit card were also missing, but that her cell phone was left behind at the residence.

Authorities said that Lane is an avid camper and outdoor enthusiast.

“She frequents the Dawson Forest Wildlife Management Area and the Chattahoochee (Blood Mountain) Wildlife Management Area," said Major Dan Jagoe of the Criminal Investigations Division.

In the recent past Lane also has camped in the Dahlonega area.

“Information we have indicates she is an ‘expert’ survivalist, Jagoe said. "She has hiked the Appalachian Trail in the snow and located lost hikers.”

Authorities said that the couple did not have an argument and nothing indicates foul play.

"She didn't tell anybody that she was doing this, nobody knew she was going to leave, her daughter didn't know, her husband didn't know and that's who she would have communicated with, said Jagoe. "They just came home and she just wasn't there."

Lane is described as being 5-feet 4 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Her dog is white with a brown spot on its face.

Investigators believe she left the home driving a burgundy in color, 1998 Jeep Wrangler with a black hard top. The Jeep has oversized tires and chrome rims and there is Gaston flag on the spare tire.

The license plate number is Georiga BRE 5957.

Lane's husband reported her missing on Monday morning, Nov. 28 when she had still not returned home.

“We are concerned for her safety because she has never left home like this before,” said Soles.
