Here are the top three stories in Dacula today:

  1. The Gwinnett County Police Department reports that a missing 3-year-old has been found safe. The child was taken from her father's yard on Saturday by her mother. The department has reportedly not issued any charges yet due to the "very complex" nature of the relationships involved. (11 Alive)
  2. Is the current housing market making you feel a little overwhelmed? Patch and Redfin.com have teamed up to create a helpful list of the latest Dacula properties that have hit the market. Click to view the full list that includes prices, photos, and property dimensions. (Dacula Patch)
  3. One Gwinnett County emergency shelter reports that its need has increased by over 200 percent since opening in 2020. The Resting Spot is currently the county's only homeless shelter and it has served more than 28,000 people since its opening. The shelter reports that the COVID-19 pandemic, inflation, and the ongoing housing crisis are to blame for the increase in need. (WSBTV)
