- An apartment fire in Gwinnett County has displaced 18 people. The fire accidentally started while a woman was cooking. No one was injured during the fire, though a total of 10 apartment units were damaged. Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services crews had to rescue some individuals from their balconies. - Gwinnett County's Gobble Till You Wobble event is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 17. The event will feature a special meal and entertainment. Participants are encouraged to bring a special holiday recipe to share. The event will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Prime Timers Pointe in Suwanee. Click the link for registration details. - Gwinnett County is currently searching for vendors to participate in this year's Holiday Craft Market. The popular market will be held on Saturday, Nov. 19, from 9:00 a.m. to noon.
