Body Dumped In Buford, Man Wanted For Murder: Gwinnett Police
A man last seen in Lithonia is charged with murder after his girlfriend's body was found left on a road in a Buford neighborhood.

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — A man police say is armed and dangerous is being sought in connection with the shooting death of a woman whose body was dumped in a residential neighborhood of Buford.
Moses Dyl, 25, is charged with felony murder and aggravated assault in connection with the death of Shakeya Smith, 20. Authorities said they believe Smith was Dyl’s girlfriend.
Gwinnett County police found Smith’s body on Roxwood Park Drive at Woodward Mill Road in Buford after 5 a.m. Saturday morning.

According to a spokesperson for the Gwinnett County Police Department, the incident was captured on neighborhood security cameras. WSB-TV in Atlanta reported that area residents heard gunfire.
“There’s nothing like that in the neighborhood,” Casey Carter said to a reporter for the Atlanta TV station. “I just feel so bad about the family who this happened to.”

Dyl was last seen in Lithonia sometime after the incident. He’s described as a Black male, 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing about 200 pounds, with black hair and a black beard. He is considered armed and dangerous.
