Burglary Spree Targeting Asians Leads To 12 Indictments: Police
A two-year string of burglaries aimed at victims of Asian descent resulted in more than $2 million worth of losses.

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA β Twelve indictments were announced Tuesday in Gwinnett County in connection with a two-year burglary spree that targeted victims of Asian descent.
According to a statement from the Gwinnett County Police Department, the string of about 200 break-ins targeted money, jewelry and personal documents valued at more than $2 million. The indicted suspects were linked to burglaries in Forsyth, Oconee, Clarke, Bibb and Fayette counties, as well as burglaries in Texas, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia.
On Aug. 9, the Gwinnett Police burglary unit executed two search warrants and found about 200 high-end handbags, money, jewelry, counterfeit social security cards and passports, according to the statement.
