What do these abbreviations have in common?
CSA, APL, NYK, and ZIM. They are all carrier codes for shippers who visit Georgia Ports. These four are of course not the only carriers who call at the Port of Savannah. They are among the more than hundreds of shipping line/carriers that arrive on a weekly, bi-weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or other schedule. These carriers arrive from many trade areas including Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Mediterranean, and many other areas. They carry bulk, container, roll-on/off, refrigerated, and other goods.
