  1. Yesterday, the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office hosted its 33rd annual Cops & Kids Christmas Event. The fun holiday happening took place at the Walmart on Lawrenceville Highway. Children from disenfranchised families got the opportunity to go shopping for clothes, toys, and school supplies with a local Sheriff. Last year the event supported 140 children from 70 families, and they're expecting to beat that number this year! (Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office)
  2. This Saturday, the Auburn Public Library will be holding its Crafternoon activity! This class is a great way for children to get creative. Kids can stop by the library and spend some time coloring and designing their own cute bear art. Class runs from 11:00 a.m. through 2:00 p.m.(Auburn Public Library - Georgia)
  3. Gwinnett players had a banner season in 2022, earning them top honors on the Georgia Athletic Coaches All-State Softball Teams. Bella Faw of North Gwinnet was named Class AAAAAAA Player of the year, while Olivia Duncan from Buford earned the title of AAAAAAA Pitcher of the year. The first-team all-state selections in AAAAAAA included Dacula local Emily Digby. (Gwinnettdailypost.com)
