- Early runoff election voting is currently underway in Gwinnett County. Dacula voters can cast ballots at the Dacula Park Activity Building on Old Auburn Road. Voting times for the polling location are between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Visit FOX 5 a complete list of Gwinnett County polling locations. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
- The Gwinnett County Police Department is investigating an apparent homicide in nearby Buford. The department reports that the homicide occurred on Ivy Stone Trail. One woman was killed and one man is left with critical injuries. The identities of the victims are not known as of Sunday. (11 Alive)
- Gwinnett County is hosting a First Responders hiring fair. The event will be on Saturday, Dec. 10 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Gwinnett County Fire Academy in Dacula on Braselton Highway. Recruiters from Gwinnett Police and Fire & Emergency Services are scheduled to attend the event. (Gwinnett County)
