- Gwinnett County Public Schools held a new teacher orientation on Tuesday. According to the district, over 1,500 new teachers attended the orientation. Each speaker at the orientation welcomed the new teachers and sought to inspire them. The teachers are meeting today to participate in grade-level specific literacy activities. Gwinnett Cares and its partners helped more than 21,000 residents facing utility disconnection and 10,000 residents facing eviction. The coalition also announced the launch of the county's Health Finder tool, the county's comprehensive human services needs assessment, and the United Way's community equity assessment.
