  1. Gwinnett County commissioners voted to apply for $7 million in state grants from the Georgia Department of Transportation. The money will go towards repaving more than 50 miles of county roadways. (Gwinnett Daily Post)
  2. Rapper Offset was given the key to Gwinnett County. He was awarded the key for his contributions to the local community. The event was held in nearby Lawrenceville, which is the rapper's hometown. (Rolling Out)
  3. The Madison Police Department issued an arrest warrant for a Dacula man who is suspected to be part of a fraud conspiracy. The police report no money has been lost yet in the scam, which involves suspects stealing mail and attempting to deposit altered checks. (Morgan County Citizen)
