Fort Daniel Student Honored As Math League Student Leader

The competition featured students from throughout the United States.

A Fort Daniel Elementary student was recently recognized as a 2012-13 Continental Math League National Student Leader.

Yasmeen Ahmed of Fort Daniel Elementary was recognized for achievement in Euclidean Math at the fifth grade level.

According to information provided by Gwinnett County Public Schools, Continental Math League is a high-level problem-solving competition which allows students to compete with other students on the same grade level from schools all over the United States. 

Ahmed was recognized as a national student leader based on her performance in the Continental Math League Competition during the 2012-13 school year.
