Gwinnett Medical Center To Host Women’s Wellness Day
This event will feature Olympic gold medalist Gail Devers, interactive workshops and health screenings.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA – Gwinnett Medical Center is pleased to present the second annual Women’s Wellness Day on Saturday, March 9, from 8 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Infinite Energy Forum, 6400 Sugarloaf Parkway, Duluth, GA 30097. The half-day experience is designed to help women as the chief wellness officers of their families learn life-changing and life-saving wellness practices, build great relationships with medical providers, and be the best they can be—as a superhero! The event will feature keynote speaker and three-time Olympic gold medalist, Gail Devers as well as interactive workshops, health screenings and more. In addition, the first 350 guests will receive a complimentary swag bag.
“Our goal through this event is to ensure women and their families are healthy, happy and thriving,” said Gwinnett Medical Center Director of Women’s Services Nicole Lescota. “It is our hope that women will leave feeling empowered with the resources and knowledge they need to lead healthy lifestyles for themselves and their families.”
Keynote speaker, Gail Devers, will kick off the event with an energizing presentation on her inspiring story of perseverance and dominance in women’s track and field. From a career that saw her compete until the age of 40 to being a three-time Olympic gold medalist and 13-time World Indoor and Outdoor medalist, nine of them gold medals, Devers’ career is awe-inspiring. Never slowing down, Devers recently became an author and is launching her own nail polish, lip balm/gloss and foot care line. Her book, “Gail Devers My Life in Story: Stronger,” was released in 2015. Participants will also enjoy wellness workshops, interactive booths, free screenings and demonstrations, featuring topics such as, “The Age of Change,” “Fitness Frenzy,” and “Biggest SuperMom Fears Debunked.”
