  1. The Hispanic Alliance Georgia protested Friday morning outside the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center calling for justice over three recent cases of missing young Hispanic people. One of those cases ended with the discovery of the remains of 16-year-old Susana Morales off a highway in Dacula. Miles Bryant, 22, a former Doraville police officer, was charged with concealing her death by dumping her body into the woods. (11Alive.com WXIA)
  2. Popular discount home goods and décor store Tuesday Morning will close half of its stores nationwide, including 12 stores in Georgia. Tuesday Morning filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Feb. 14 and will close its lower-performing stores. Tuesday Morning currently operates 487 stores in the United States. (WSB-TV)
  3. A thirteen-year-old Gwinnett County boy was shot to death outside of his home earlier this week. The boy's father said he felt helpless as the gunmen pulled up outside. It is unclear at this time if authorities have a suspect in custody; however, officials are working to find a motive for the shooting. (WSB-TV)

  • Gwinnett County Public Schools celebrated 125 years of the Parent Teacher Association as part of National PTA Day yesterday.
