- The Gwinnett Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred in the 2300 block of Stephens Center Drive on Wednesday. The department responded to the location after being notified of a person being shot. Responding officers located a man in the Studio 6 Extended Stay parking lot. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Anyone with information is asked to contact the department. (WSBTV)
- The manager that was stabbed during a Macy's store robbery at the Mall of Georgia in September has been fired. According to David Walker, he was fired for attempting to intervene in the robbery. His actions were allegedly against company policy. He worked for Macy's for 18 years. A Macy's spokesperson claims that the safety of customers and colleagues is always their top priority. (WSBTV)
- Gwinnett County's annual Veterans Day Ceremony has been moved to the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center auditorium in Lawrenceville. The venue change is reportedly necessary due to forecasted inclement weather. The ceremony will still be held today at 11:00 a.m. The ceremony will also be streamed online for those unable to attend in-person. Click for streaming information. (Gwinnett County)
