Lawrenceville Woman ID'd As Fatality In Pleasant Hill Road Crash
A 72-year-old Lawrenceville woman died of her injuries Friday after her car was hit as she was turning left off of Pleasant Hill Road.
GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — A Lawrenceville woman has been identified as the fatality in a two-car accident on Pleasant Hill Road that snarled traffic during Friday-afternoon rush hour.
Valerie Dunham, 73, was turning left from Pleasant Hill Road onto Arc Way when a Toyota Camry hit her Honda Fit, according to a spokesperson for the Gwinnett County Police Department. Dunham died at the scene from her injuries.
The accident blocked Pleasant Hill Road for more than an hour while investigators processed the scene. The driver of the Camry has yet to be identified publicly.
