  1. A Dacula man has been charged in relation to a murder and arson case in Lawrenceville. The man is accused of committing murder at attorney Doug Lewis' law office, located at 154 Stone Mountain St., and then setting the building on fire. According to Gwinnett Fire Capt. Ryan McGiboney, there is an active investigation into the fire. (Gwinnett Daily Post)
  2. A local 18-year-old disappeared after traveling by bus between Augusta and Atlanta. 18-year-old Javon Bradley arrived in Atlanta and was supposed to board another bus but never did. Anybody with information on Bradley’s whereabouts is asked to contact Investigator Ronald Sylvester with the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office at (706) 821-1020 or (706) 821-1080. (Atlanta News First)
  3. U.S. Interior Secretary Deb Haaland is encouraging Georgia officials to say no to a proposal to open a mine near Okefenokee Swamp. The secretary says that mine would pose a risk to swamp ecology. (GPB)
