Police said the suspects, all believed to be Hispanic, ambushed the woman when she walked into her home after dropping a child off at the school bus stop, then they tied her up and beat her as they went through the house.
“During the attack, she was struck in the head with a hammer and knocked unconscious for a period of time,” Gwinnett Police Public Information Officer Cpl. Deon Washington said in a news release. “When she regained consciousness, she was bound at the wrists and ankles. The suspects began cutting, punching, and stabbing her for approximately one hour while the house was ransacked.”
