  1. A Dacula mother is preparing to give her two-year-old son a kidney. Carter Bish has finally been given the green light to receive his mother's kidney on Jul. 8 during a live organ donation procedure. Pamela Bish went through a number of tests to ensure that she could give the kidney to her son including a cyst check, a diabetic test, and a high blood pressure screening. (ABC 30 News)
  2. Gwinnett County Public Schools has been recognized as a Platinum 2022 Learning Impact Award Winner. The district is the nation's 13th largest school district. They were awarded for their use of impactful innovative projects that heightened learning experiences for students. The district's project reportedly mitigated learning loss by the COVID-19 pandemic while preparing students for the next school year. (Benzinga.com)
  3. The Gwinnett County Pride Party will be held on Tuesday, Jun. 28 in front of the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center. The party will begin at 11:00 a.m. and go until 1:00 p.m. The party will be a solemn reminder of the nation's past while presenting a hopeful future for Gwinnett County. (Gwinnett County)
