Movie Equipment Trailers Stolen, 1 Arrested, 1 At-Large: Police
Police have arrested one man and are searching for another person after trailers with movie equipment were recently stolen.
GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — Gwinnett Ccounty Police Department detectives are investigating the theft of several trailers from businesses on Peachtree Industrial Blvd. between Jan. 11, and Jan. 14. One suspect has been arrested and police say another suspect is at-large.
One suspect, Dewayne Antwain Williams, 49, has been transferred to the Gwinnett County Detention Center and remains in custody without bail as of Tuesday morning. The driver of the second vehicle has not been identified.
Three of the trailers contained robotic camera cranes and other equipment used in movie production. Security video showed the trailers being removed by two vehicles, a dark color pickup truck and a white pickup truck. The dark color truck and one of the stolen trailers were recovered by the Atlanta Police Department and one suspect was apprehended.

The white pickup truck and two of the trailers have not been recovered. None of the contents of any of the trailers have been recovered. Among the still missing items are a green boom lift, which was on a trailer, two robotic camera cranes, and a custom electric car used for mounting cameras and shooting film.
