- Gwinnett County Parks are participating in a new signage campaign. The "Raising Resilience" campaign is encouraging residents to take a step back and slow down, and analyze how they actually feel. To participate, simply scan one of the various QR codes on the campaign's signage. (11Alive.com WXIA)
- The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has opened an investigation into a Gwinnett County Police Department officer-involved shooting. The incident occurred shortly before 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3 in the parking lot of the Food Depot on Tech Drive. No department officers were injured during the incident. The bureau will hand over the investigation results to the Gwinnett County District Attorney's Office at the end of the investigation. (EIN News)
- Calling all Harry Potter fans in grades 6-12: Gwinnett County Public Library will be hosting a Yule Ball event on Saturday, Dec. 10 at 7:00 p.m. at the Dacula library branch.
