Here are the top three stories today in Dacula:
- There will be no voting on Monday, Nov. 7. Gwinnett County residents will need to vote at assigned polling locations on Tuesday, Nov. 8. Voters will be handed their correct ballot for precinct and district at their assigned location. Voting hours will be from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (Gwinnett County)
- The City of Dacula has published its 2022 Holiday Trash Schedule. Residents that have recycling day on Friday, Nov. 11, will have pick-up moved to Monday, Nov. 14, for Veterans Day. Residents with recycling day on Friday, Dec. 23, will have pick-up moved to Monday, Dec. 19, for Christmas. Click for the full holiday trash schedule. (City of Dacula)
- The Gwinnett County Police Department shot and killed a man who was allegedly armed. The incident occurred on Singleton Road south of Interstate 85 on Friday morning around 8:30 a.m. The man was carrying a note which has been turned over to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
