- An officer was shot and killed outside of the Gwinnett County Comprehensive Corrections Complex down the road in Lawrenceville. The victim had worked for the corrections department for more than 10 years. (NBC News)
- One person was rescued from an apartment fire in nearby Lawrenceville on Monday night. One man had minor injuries as a result of the fire, and multiple people were displaced. Officials are still investigating the cause of the fire. (11alive)
- Authorities have provided more information regarding a Dec. 7 shooting in nearby Lawrenceville. Officials said that an attorney was shot dead outside of his Lawrenceville office by the former husband of one of the attorney's female clients from Dacula. After the shooting, the suspect set the attorney's office on fire. (meaww)
