Police Seek Leads For Case Of Body Found Near Gwinnett Place Mall
The burned body of Raul Zapata-Garcia was found near the intersection of Satellite Boulevard and West Liddell Road on July 20.
GWINNETT COUNTY, GA —Hoping that the public can offer leads, police have released images recorded before his death of a man whose burned body was found near Gwinnett Place Mall.
The images of Raul Zapata-Garcia, 47, of Duluth, were taken from security video at a nearby convenience store.
Zapata-Garcia’s body, was found July 20 on a wooded trail near the intersection of Satellite Boulevard and West Liddell Road. Gwinnett Police said they believe the body appears to have been shot at least once and are investigating.

Anyone with information in this case is asked to call Gwinnett County Police detectives at 770-513-5300.
