- The Gwinnett Police Department, Gwinnett Fire Department, and Gwinnett Emergency Services will be hosting the Public Safety Fall Festival on Saturday, Nov. 19. The festival was recently postponed due to severe weather conditions. The Public Safety Fall Festival will be at 12Stone Church in Duluth (about 15 miles from Dacula) from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Gwinnett County)
- The Department of Justice's Civil Rights Division will be monitoring Gwinnett County's General Election. The division will be enforcing federal voting rights laws. The division's personnel will be on the ground during the monitoring process today, Nov. 8. Click for the full list of counties that the division will be monitoring this election. (KTNV)
- The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has released a new detail in its Gwinnett County officer-involved shooting investigation. According to the Bureau, a replica gun was found at the scene of the shooting. The incident occurred on Friday at around 8:30 a.m. The victim's identity has not been released. (Patch)
